Shay Hazan is an international music producer, Bassist and Guimbri musician, based in Tel Aviv. Shay’s music is a mixture of Moroccan flavors, beats from the worlds of hip-hop and afro beat, horns and synthesizers that floating above the unique musical space created all glued with Hazan’s rooted and cast groove. 

 

After playing and recording with top musicians in Israel and Europe, while bouncing between local and European Jazz stages with his quintet Shay Hazan is releasing a second album, putting the Moroccan Guimbri in the center..

 

Hazan’s first 2 albums with BATOV records (UK), got amazing responses from the music scene around the world and both albums' vinel editions got sold out. 

Heading into 2026, Shay is about to release is 3rd solo record - 'When It Rains, It Pours', in December 2025.
